PERANCANGAN FILM ULIN DIWANCI MAGRIB SEBAGAI UPAYA MELESTARIKAN BUDAYA SUNDA TENTANG PAMALI

This research aims to explore the potential of the short fiction film "Ulin Diwanci Magrib" as a medium to preserve Sundanese culture. This research uses a short film design approach combined with elements of Sundanese culture, namely Sundanese language and one of the pamali in Sundanese culture, namely the prohibition of leaving the house at maghrib time or in myths often called "sandekala" where sandekala is believed to be caused by the existence of spirits that roam at the turn of day and night. In designing this movie, the title "Ulin
Diwanci Magrib" was made, which refers to Sundanese culture by displaying Sundanese language as an interesting and informative fictional story. Through this research, it is hoped to gain a deeper understanding of how short films can be an effective means of introducing and increasing appreciation for Sundanese culture. This research also discusses the challenges and opportunities of using film as a medium for cultural preservation.
