Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven a widespread shift toward digital platforms, including those used for second-hand goods transactions. However, the motorcycle community in Cianjur continues to encounter barriers such as limited market access and the suboptimal use of digital applications. This study aims to design a mobile application UI/UX that is simple, user-friendly, and tailored to the needs of second-hand motorcycle parts sellers. A Design Thinking approach was applied, consisting of five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The design process emphasized not only the visual aspects (UI) but also the overall user experience (UX), focusing on ease of navigation, information clarity, and transactional efficiency. Usability was evaluated using the Heuristic Evaluation method involving four evaluators from PT Vetencode Pradani Abadi. The evaluation resulted in an average severity rating of 0.55, which was rounded to 1 and categorized as a cosmetic problem—minor issues that do not affect the core functionality of the application. The resulting UI/UX design meets usability standards and can serve as a foundation for developing more targeted digital platforms for second-hand goods trading.
