PERANCANGAN KOMIK DIGITAL (WEBTOON) “DREAM JOURNEY” SEBAGAI MEDIA EDUKASI POLA TIDUR SEHAT BAGI MASA DEWASA AWAL

Staying up late is a habit of waking up until midnight and sleeping the next morning and/or vice versa. Most individuals stay up late because of activities such as doing assignments, work, playing social media and even playing online games until late at night. However, unknowingly staying up late has become a bad habit that has the potential to cause health problems. With the increasing awareness of the importance of quality sleep patterns for health, especially in early adulthood who are vulnerable and often ignore their sleep patterns. This study explores how webtoon comic media can be an effective means of conveying information about healthy sleep patterns. The research method used in this design is a descriptive qualitative research method involving interviews, observations, questionnaires, and literature reviews related to sleep health and visual communication, as well as distributing questionnaires related to sleep health. The results of the study will be implemented into the design of webtoon comics, including the selection of colors, illustration styles, and narratives that are in accordance with the preferences and needs of the younger generation. This study is expected to provide benefits to the audience's understanding of how comic media can be an effective medium in educating and motivating the younger generation to improve better sleep patterns, so that it can have a positive impact on overall health.
