Abstract
Population growth and rapid urbanisation in Indonesia have increased as well as the need for affordable and livable housing, the construction of subsidised housing is a solution to meet these needs, but development with conventional methods faces obstacles such as limited available land, high costs, long time, and poor building quality, therefore, this research is important aims to design a module of subsidised housing building components precast method as an alternative method of development that is effective and efficient. By using the RISHA (Healthy Simple Instant Home) Technology approach adopted by the Ministry of PUPR, which is the embodiment of a house with a modular design, with a concept that divides the system into small parts (modules) with efficient sizes so that they can be assembled into a large number of different products. This research will produce a special modular subsidised house with architectural trends, so that the problem solving approach can be done by identifying problems, finding alternative solutions, designing modules, implementing solutions, and evaluating results. The results of this research are expected to contribute to the development of subsidised housing construction methods that are more effective and efficient, environmentally friendly, and can reduce construction waste, so as to meet the needs of the community for affordable and livable housing, and can help overcome some of the problems faced in the construction of subsidised housing.
