Abstract
The construction of buildings is inherently associated with numerous hazards. Generally, occupational safety and health (OSH) is often overlooked in construction projects. The implementation of OSH in a project is an effort to protect workers, ensuring their safety, health, and well-being, and preventing work-related accidents, occupational diseases, and environmental pollution to enhance productivity, as stipulated in Law No. 11 of 2020 on Occupational Safety and Health. The level of control measures implemented serves as a benchmark for assessing the extent to which the OSH management system is applied. The HIRARC method (hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control) is a procedure for identifying hazards in work processes to minimize the risk of workplace accidents. This research aims to determine the level of risk of workplace accidents in the construction project of Tower Thamrin-9. Identifying potential hazards is crucial for understanding the causal factors of workplace accidents and serves as a basis for planning control measures aimed at minimizing the risk of accidents. The methodology involves collecting data through direct field observations and interviews with workers. Direct observations are used to assess the level of hazard and identify potential control measures. The analysis covers hazard risks, the level of workplace accident risk, and risk control measures. The analysis reveals that work at heights poses the highest risk, with a score of T9 and T6 indicating a severe/fatal risk. This risk is present in activities such as structural facade work, panel installation, and lift installation.
