Abstract

Bojongraharja Village is one of the areas that has abundant natural resource potential in the form of green stone. One of them is PT Stone Mall Indonesia which contributes to the management of mining resources and production. Green stone has advantages, including having natural zeolite minerals that can filter water to be clean. Green stone mining has a very significant impact, both in terms of decreasing biodiversity, soil damage, air pollution due to mining activities, and water shortages when entering the dry season. But the company is making efforts to reduce the existing environmental impact. PT Stone Mall Indonesia is running a land reforestation program in areas that have been mined. This includes backfilling former mining holes with soil or rocks, and replanting native vegetation on former mining land to prevent erosion and to restore the local ecosystem. The land reforestation program and planting native vegetation are also useful for reducing dust and improving air quality. Planting local trees and vegetation helps absorb dust and increase oxygen levels in the air. Based on the level of community satisfaction with the existence of green stone mining taken from the economic aspect of the community, eating with a percentage value of 34% shows that they strongly agree, because it is very helpful for daily needs to support the family and the sustainability of the community to make a livelihood field. But in terms of environmental pollution damage with a value of 36%, this shows that they agree that the existence of green stone mining has a significant impact, namely from air pollution due to mining activities, water drought when entering the dry season which disrupts community activities or activities.
