PERENCANAAN DESAIN LAYOUT GEDUNG PARKIR SEPEDA MOTOR BERDASARKAN ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN RUANG PARKIR DI UNIVERSITAS NUSA PUTRA

Increased educational activities and infrastructure at universities often result in increased vehicle volumes on campuses in Indonesia. This study aims to obtain information on the characteristics and needs of parking spaces at Nusa Putra University, and to predict the need for parking spaces for the next 5 years and to find out how to plan an effective parking building layout design at Nusa Putra University. The method used in data collection is direct observation in the field by conducting parking space inventory surveys and cordon parking surveys. The collected data were analyzed using forecasting statistics with the least square method and using value comparison statistics. The results of this study inform that the two-wheeled vehicle parking capacity of 254 parking space unit (PSU) cannot accommodate the parking space requirements of 539 PSU. Furthermore, there are two alternative layouts and locations for parking lot planning to accommodate the parking space needs of Nusa Putra University in 2028 which is predicted to be 969 PSU, namely plan A location (south of Nusa Putra University auditorium) with a 7-story building that can accommodate 1076 PSU and plan B location (east of Nusa Putra University Building B) with a 4-story building that can accommodate 1012 PSU.
