Abstract
In a business environment that is increasingly dependent on information technology, the reliability of network infrastructure becomes critical for smooth operational functions and service to customers. Network disruption is the main challenge in maintaining operational stability at PT Proxi Network Nusantara, Java and Bengkulu Island branches. In dealing with network disruptions, a systematic and effective approach is needed for monitoring, early detection and fast and precise disruption management. Access to an effective monitoring system is often constrained by several factors, including the complexity of network configuration, dependence on technical resources, and limitations in notification system integration. Therefore, this research proposes the implementation of the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method which is integrated with the LibreNMS application and Telegram bot notifications to overcome this problem. LibreNMS was chosen for its real-time network monitoring capabilities, while a Telegram bot was implemented to increase the speed and effectiveness of intrusion notifications. The NDLC method is adopted in this research to provide a framework that includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, operation and maintenance of a network monitoring system. In addition, this system supports data integration from various network monitoring and management sources, and makes a significant contribution to the development of technology solutions to support proactive detection and management of network disruptions. Monitoring results show that traffic on BGP Proxinet reaches 20G, routers in Bengkulu reach 720Mbps, and routers in Sukabumi reach 6G. For CPU usage, BGP Proxinet reached 10%, the Bengkulu router reached 14%, and the Sukabumi router reached 12%. This data is important for a reliable and efficient monitoring system to ensure network stability and calm in the operational environment of PT Proxi Network Nusantara.
