IMPLEMENTASI AUGMENTED REALITY PADA APLIKASI EDUKASI DI AGRO EDUPARK MABDA ISLAM MENGGUNAKAN METODE MARKER BASED TRACKING BERBASIS ANDROID

This research aims to develop an educational application based on Augmented Reality (AR) using marker-based tracking to enhance the learning experience at Agro Edu Park Mabda Islam, Sukabumi. This application is designed for the Android platform, considering the high penetration of Android devices among the public. Agro Edu Park Mabda Islam is an educational tourism destination that combines the concepts of recreation with education in the fields of agriculture, livestock, and fisheries. The research began with identifying the users' needs and the educational objectives of Agro Edu Park. Subsequently, the application development process involved design, implementation, and testing of the AR using marker-based tracking to recognize specific objects and present additional information in visual and interactive forms. The application testing was conducted using black-box testing to ensure the application functions as intended. The testing results indicated that this AR application successfully enhanced visitor interaction and engagement with the educational objects at Agro Edu Park. This research also identified several areas for improvement and further development, including the addition of gamification features, increased AR responsiveness, and diversification of educational content. Overall, this research demonstrates that Augmented Reality technology can significantly contribute to improving the quality of education in educational tourism sites. The implementation of Android-based AR with marker-based tracking offers an innovative solution to deliver educational information interactively and engagingly, thereby enhancing the visitor experience at Agro Edu Park Mabda Islam.
