SISTEM INFORMASI PEMETAAN KOMODITAS LAHAN SAWAH BERBASIS WEB DI KECAMATAN CIBADAK KABUPATEN SUKABUMI

Rural areas in Cibadak District are important areas that are closely related to poverty alleviation, opening employment opportunities, efforts to build food security, creating and purchasing food within the scope of agriculture. The aim of this research is to map paddy field commodities based on data results that take into account the results of information stored at the BPP (Agricultural Extension Center) of Cibadak District and BPS (Central Statistics Agency) of Sukabumi Regency using a Web-based Mapping Geographic Information System. The use of geographic information system innovation will have a significant impact on the speed of planning, expectations, important stages and efforts to design and build a Rice Field Mapping Information System in Cibadak District. This web-based geographic mapping information system is intended to be online so that it can provide precise data about searching for rice fields in Cibadak District. This can help the BPP (Agricultural Extension Center) of Cibadak District in presenting information on mapping rice fields in Cibadak District. In making this application, Quantum GIS was used to create a map of rice fields. The system development method used is the System Development Life Cycle Waterfall Model up to the implementation and Blackbox testing stages. The design used in this research is UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling. The results of this research are in the form of a GIS that can map paddy field commodities in Cibadak District..
