PERAN GURU KELAS DALAM MEMBERIKAN LAYANAN BIMBINGAN KONSELING (BK) UNTUK MENGATASI PERMASALAHAN YANG DIALAMI SISWA SDN SAWAHLEGA

Guidance and Counseling activities in elementary schools are not specifically provided by guidance teachers, so class teachers must also provide guidance and counseling services to all students without exception. This research seeks to look at the role of class teachers in providing guidance and counseling services to overcome problems experienced by class IV students at SDN Sawahlega. Through observations and interviews with class teachers, the problem that occurs is that there are still students who have learning difficulties, then there is a lack of motivation to learn where students feel bored with learning in class, procrastinate on assignments and are embarrassed to ask the teacher. The formulation of the problem to be studied is: (1). How does the role of class teachers understand guidance and counseling services? (2). What are the causes of learning difficulties, personal and social experienced by students? (3). How class teachers overcome learning, personal and social problems experienced by elementary school students. Sawahlega? This research uses a qualitative approach using the case study method. The subjects of this research were class IV teachers and class IV students. The location of this research was carried out at SDN Sawahlega. The data collection techniques used were: observation, questionnaires and interviews.
