Abstract
Student learning motivation is an important factor in the success of the learning process. One of the strategies that can be used for student learning motivation is to use a reward board. A reward board is a board used to display students' achievements or achievements in learning. This study aims to determine the influence of reward boards on students' learning motivation in elementary schools. The design of this study uses a non-equivalent control group design, where the experimental class and the control class are given a questionnaire at the beginning of learning, then the experimental class is given treatment using a reward board. At the end of the experimental class and control class, a questionnaire was given about the students' learning motivation. The sample of this study is 24 students in grade V at Nyomplong State Elementary School and 14 students at Pajagalan State Elementary School. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence between the reward board on the learning motivation of students in elementary school. This is evidenced by the increase in student learning motivation questionnaire scores in the experimental class which are higher than in the control class. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the reward board can be one of the effective strategies for student learning motivation in elementary school. Reward boards can help students to focus on their learning goals and increase their confidence.
