Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of SOPs in palm oil harvest management at KSO PTPN III Kebun Sukamaju unit is based on seven main things in the SOP, namely efficiency, consistency, minimizing errors, problem solving, worker protection, work maps, and defense boundaries. This research is a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The research population covers the entire oil palm plantation area with an area of 3,124.42 Ha which is divided into 4 administrative areas (Afdeling), with samples selected purposively, namely Afdeling 1 with an area of
739.37 Ha being the sample in this study. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Of the seven indicators of SOP effectiveness, six indicators, namely consistency, error minimization, problem solving, labor protection, work maps, and defense boundaries, show effective implementation. However, there are shortcomings in the efficiency indicator which is still not effective enough with an achievement of 80.59%. Nevertheless, in general the implementation of the SOP for oil palm harvest management in division I of the Sukamaju plantation has been running well and has made a significant contribution to achieving production targets, although there is still room for further improvement.
