PENGARUH KOMPETENSI SOSIAL GURU DAN DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA GURU DI SMP YASIDIK PARAKANSALAK

The role of teachers and principals is very important in fostering high quality education which significantly affects the development of human resources. This study aims to analyze the effect of social competence and work discipline on teacher performance at Yasidik Parakansalak Junior High School. This research method is quantitative research. The number of samples used in this study were 26 respondents. With the results of the research on the t test of the teacher's social competence variable (X1) obtained a sig value of 0.126> 0.05 with a t value of 1.588 < t table 1.714, which means that the teacher's competence does not have a significant effect on teacher performance, while in the t test the work discipline variable (X2) obtained a sig value of 0.001 < 0.05 with a t value of 3.635> t table 1.714, so based on these results it can be concluded that work discipline has a significant effect on teacher performance.
