ANALISIS YURIDIS PERLINDUNGAN DATA PRIBADI DI DALAM UNDANG-UNDANG NOMOR 27 TAHUN 2022 TERHADAP PENCURIAN DATA LINTAS TERITORIAL DAN PERSONALITAS DI ERA DIGITAL

The development of technology and the internet has had positive and negative impacts on the progress of human civilization. One of the negative impacts that arises is theft and misuse of personal data. Law Number 27 of 2022 is a special regulation regarding personal data protection regulations in Indonesia. So there needs to be an effort to analyze Law Number 27 of 2022 regarding the concept of personal data protection and how to protect personal data across territories and personalities. In this research the problem formulation is: first, what is the concept of legal protection related to personal data protection; and second, Juridical Analysis of Personal Data Protection in Law Number 27 of 2022 Against Cross-Territorial and Personal Data Theft. This research uses a normative juridical research method which focuses on the study of library materials and statutory regulations, because based on the hypothesis in this analysis it is considered that there are still obstacles in making efforts to protect personal data against acts of cross-territorial and personal data theft, thus the research method used used aims to answer all forms of problem formulation based on theoretical aspects of the legal system in Indonesia, and also on practical aspects where there is a need for cooperation between countries in efforts to protect personal data across countries.
