PERANCANGAN FILM DOKUMENTER SEBAGAI MEDIA PROMOSI TENTANG BATIK KENARIE SUKABUMI

Indonesia is rich in cultural heritage, including Kenarie Sukabumi batik. Every tribe in Indonesia has unique traditional clothing which is a valuable cultural heritage. Efforts to preserve Kenarie batik are important so that this cultural heritage is maintained, one of which is by utilizing effective promotional media such as documentary films. Through qualitative research, the researcher showed a documentary film about Kenarie batik to the resource person, Mrs. Irma. Mrs. Irma gave a positive response, saying the film was easy for adults to understand and attracted the attention of young people because of the video quality. Next, researchers showed a documentary film at SCH to see young people's responses. As a result, they came to know about the Kenarie batik culture in Sukabumi and were interested in trying traditional batik batik. With a documentary film about Kenarie batik, it is hoped that it can help preserve Sukabumi's unique culture. The interest of young people can become a movement to continue this cultural heritage so that it does not become extinct, and can increase sales of Kenarie batik.
