FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI FINANCIAL DISTRESS DENGAN INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI (Studi pada Perusahaan Sektor Consumer Cyclicals yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2018-2022)

This research was created to determine the factors that influence financial distress with intellectual capital as a moderating variable. These factors in this research are inflation, leverage, and operating capacity. This research is quantitative research with the type of data used, namely secondary data in the form of company financial reports obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, as well as published inflation reports obtained from Bank Indonesia. The research population is all 140 companies in the consumer cyclicals sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period. The sample was selected using purposive sampling based on the researchers' criteria so that a sample of 96 companies was obtained. Data analysis used logistic regression analysis with Eviews 10 Software. Tests used included descriptive statistical analysis, Hosmer-Lemeshow test, Overall Fit Model test, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study show that inflation has no effect on financial distress, leverage, operating capacity and intellectual capital each have an effect on financial distress, inflation, leverage and operating capacity together have an effect on financial distress, intellectual does not moderate the effect of inflation on financial distress, and intellectual capital moderate the influence of leverage and operating capacity on financial distress.
