Abstract

The economic development of a country depends heavily on the dynamic development and real construction of the banking sector. The aim of this study is to find out the influence of Current Ratio, Earnings Per Share and Debt to Equity Ratio on the price of the stock with Price Earning Ratio as a moderation variable In the Conventional Banking Sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. This research is a type of quantitative research, the data used in this research is secondary data, with data collection method using purposive sampling techniques. The research population is a conventional banking sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the period 2017 s/d 2021. Then we obtained a population of 43 companies with 25 conventional banking sector companies meeting the criteria. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption tests, moderation regression analysis and hypothesis tests. The results of this study are : (1) Current Ratio has a significant influence on the price of the stock (2) Earning Per Share has a significant influence upon the share price (3) Debt to Equity Ratio does not have a significant effect on the stock price
(4) Price Earnings Ratio is not able to moderate the Current ratio to the share prices (5) Price Earnings Ratio can moderate Earning per Share to the stock prices (6) Price Earing Ratio cannot moderate Debt-to-Equity Ratio to the stock price. From the results of the research, investors will tend to have information about Earning Per Share, because the most dominant variable is closely related to the stock price, and is considered essential to know the company's future state.
