PERANCANGAN MOTION GRAPHIC BANGUNAN LEUIT UNTUK MENGENALKAN WARISAN BUDAYA SUNDA DI SUKABUMI

The Sundanese tribe, especially in Sukabumi certainly have a lot of haritage and cultural heritage. Even so, it turns out that there are still many people around Sukabumi region who are not aware of it’s existence. There are several factors that contribute to this lack of awareness, both in terms in the lack of information and also education. If this is ignored, then it will slowly dissapear due to oblivion. Particularly the leuit Sunda building which is Sundanese cultural heritage, one of which is can be seen in Cipta Gelar, a traditional village in Sukabumi regency. The method used is qualitative and quantitative by observing the social situation throughly, broadly and in depth based on the data that researcher’s obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires to the people of Sukabumi as well as interviews with relevant cultural heritage administrators. So therefore, a motion graphic will be designed as an educational media for leuit building as an effort to preserve cultural heritage in Sukabumi, as well as information media that is relevant for the current area.
