Abstract
The selection of heavy equipment to be used is an important factor in the success of a construction project. The machine chosen must be right so that the project or job runs smoothly. This final project has the main topic of discussion, namely to determine the productivity of heavy equipment, the number of heavy equipment and the execution time of the work. This research is located in an industrial area, precisely on Jl.Sindang Laut Kali baru, North Jakarta City 14110. The limitations of this research problem include the productivity of heavy equipment related to the circle time system combination between the PC200-8 excavator with a bucket capacity of 0.93m3 and a 10 CBM dump truck with a body capacity of 10.08m3. Excavator productivity per hour is Q = 60,148 m3/hour, while the results of the calculation of the productivity of two Dump Truck units Q = 39,38 m3/hour. The execution time of the work to dispose of the soil is 3,655 m3 with a hauling distance of 2.1 km, with one unit of heavy equipment Excavator, more productive & effective when using two Dump Trucks, which can complete the work of digging and loading for 12 days with a budget of Rp. 134,578,817.00 from the available schedule, which is 30 working calendar days.
