Abstract

Hotmix is a type of road pavement consisting of a mixture of aggregates, with or without additives. Asphalt concrete forming materials are mixed in a mixing plant at a certain temperature. The purpose of this research is to find out the Quarry that meets Marshall parameter specifications for the AC-BC Laston mixture, to determine the stability and flow values, to determine the optimum asphalt content (KAO). The method used is the AASHTO 1993 method. The results of the research on the stability and flow values of the Cimangkok Quarry, a stability value of 3.016 kg has been reached and a flow value of 2.40 has not been reached. Jebrod Quarry has a stability value of 2.429 kg and a flow value of 3.19 mm has been reached. Quarry Mariuk, the stability value of 3.016 kg has not been reached, the flow value of 2.40 mm has not been reached, and the Rumpin Quarry, which is the comparison, has achieved the stability value of 2,705 kg and the flow value of 4.35 mm has been reached. The optimum asphalt content (KAO) based on marshall testing for the Cimangkok Quarry was 6.05%, Jebrod Quarry was 5.84%, Mariuk Quarry was 5.90%, and Rumpin Quarry was 5.99%.
