Abstract
Sukabumi has several roads to connect vehicles between cities and between regions, one of which is Jalan Selabintana. Jalan Selabintana already has a drainage network, but at some points the channels are not operating optimally. This can be seen from the inability of the canal to accommodate rainwater runoff at the time of the highest rainfall intensity and is no longer able to channel the flow of water in the area caused by the lack of cross-sectional dimensions of the channel. Therefore it is necessary to study the flow rate using the maximum rainfall calculation using the algebraic mean method and distribution analysis is carried out with 4 distributions, namely the Normal distribution, Normal Log, Pearson III Log and Gumbel. The design flood analysis is carried out by using channel capacity analysis and comparing it with the discharge calculated by the rational method. Analysis of rainfall data to estimate the magnitude of the flood discharge is calculated with several repeated scales, namely 2, 5, 10, 50, and 100 years. The channel dimensions use a rectangular cross section with Qplan = 0.521 m³/sec, Vplane = 0.317 m/sec, canal width (b) 0.60 m, water level (h) 0.70 m, and guard height (w) 0 ,35m.
