PENERAPAN GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE PADA KAWASAN KUMUH WILAYAH CIPELANG KOTA SUKABUMI

The increase in urban slum areas is a form of adaptation by the community to conflicts over housing capabilities and needs. However, the lack of public awareness of environmental cleanliness and the lack of adequate infrastructure facilities will result in the emergence of slum areas. The Cipelang area with an area of 16.4 hectares is included in the mild slum area. The slum problems that occur in the Cipelang area include the absence of household wastewater treatment (domestic wastewater) and the absence of facilities to meet the clean water needs of the surrounding community. This study aims to determine the condition of infrastructure facilities in the Cipelang area and how to process the wastewater and meet the needs for clean water in accordance with the concept of green infrastructure for the sustainability of the area. The method used for the treatment of domestic wastewater is processing by means of an aerobic anaerobic biofilter and it will be recycled again to obtain clean water that can be reused for toilet washing purposes (MCK) in the Cipelang area.
