SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PEMILIHAN GENRE MUSIK MENGGUNAKAN METODE ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS (Studi Kasus; Siswa SMA Al-Furqon)

Music has become a part of public life, especially among Al-Furqon high school students. In this day and age, there are so many types of music that have their charm so that they are very popular. To find out what genre of music is most popular among teenagers, it is necessary to have a system that can
calculate objectively from subjective human opinions. Decision support system Music Genre Selection Using the Analytical Hierarchy Process Method can be used to determine whether or not the most popular music is appropriate or not with the required qualifications. This is because the Analytical Hierarchy Process method can provide an assessment of both qualitatively and quantitatively, the Analytical Hierarchy Process method looks for a decision on criteria conditions that are hierarchical or stratified. This research can help music lovers to assess each genre of music according to the criteria, while the
criteria discussed in this study include music, music video, and performance. Where the results obtained are Music 11%, Music Video 63%, and Performance 26%, meaning that Music Video is ranked first in the criteria for selecting a genre of music
