Abstract

This study discusses the design of a tempe production planning system using the Tsukamoto fuzzy method at the XYZ Sukabumi Tempe Factory, West Java. This XYZ Tempe Factory often experiences instability in market demand for tempe production which is sometimes high and low. This is a problem for the tempe factory manager in determining the tempe production planning. So that the XYZ Tempe Factory often produces excess tempe. As a result, it can create losses
because tempeh which is no longer suitable for sale will be discarded. To solve this problem, it is necessary to solve this by planning the amount of tempe production based on the amount of supply and the amount of demand using the
Tsukamoto fuzzy method. The design of this system is made based on the desktop with the Java Swing programming language on the NetBeans IDE and the database uses MySQL. Based on the resulting system design, it can be seen the planned amount of tempe production by applying the Tsukamoto fuzzy method so that the factory can plan the amount of production according to the amount of
demand. By using this application, the factory manager will determine the optimal, effective and efficient production plan
