Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student grades in class IV mathematics
learning. One of the causes of lack of students' creative thinking skills due to the
use of effective learning methods. One way commonly used is to use the Mind
Mapping learning model. The approach of this research method is quantitative
using the type of quasi Exsperiment conducted on 2 classes namely one
experimental class and one control class. The population of this study by SDN
Karadenan students with the sam-PLE used is class IV students with a total of 24
students as experimental classes and SDN Paledang with 29 students as control
classes. With porpusive sampling techniques. This study aims to determine the effect
of the use of Mind Mapping learning models on students' creative thinking skills in
mathematical buyers in class IV. The approach of this research method is
quantitative using the type of quay experimenting which is carried out to 2 classes,
namely one experimental class and one control class. The data collection technique
conducted in this study is t-test.. The difference between the means between the two
data is 4.89 (experimental = 66.70 and control = 52.65) which means the Mind
Mapping model is more influential on the lecture method, questions and answers
and assignments. The results of this study were in accordance with the basis of
decision making in the Independent Sample T-Test test that the SIG got 0,000
means: 0,000 <0.05 ha accepted, which means that there is an influence of the Mind
Mapping model on the ability to think creatively.
