Abstract
UPTD BLK Sukabumi is an institution that has the task of conducting competencybased training activities. At UPTD BLK Sukabumi, there are several machines used for competency-based training activities, where each machine needs to be
maintained. However, there is currently no Preventive Maintenance method. To overcome this condition, a Preventive Maintenance method is proposed, namely the Autonomous Maintenance method on a training workshop scale. In this research, the machine studied is the Gede Weiler lathe MLZ 250 V model found in the manufacturing workshop. The method used in this research is a combination method with data collection methods carried out by means of interviews,
questionnaires and direct observation in the field. From the results of this study obtained information about the model and stages of the application of Autonomous
Maintenance on the Gede Weiler lathe MLZ 250 V model. In addition, the results of the results of this study also present information about the increase in the
effectiveness value of the use of the Gede Weiler lathe MLZ 250 V model, where the effectiveness of the machine has increased by 53% after the application of
Autonomous Maintenance.
