Abstract
The background of this research is to make it easier to care for pets that are specifically for cats, especially in feeding them, so that when the pet owner is not at home for a long time, the owner does not need to worry about the nutritional intake of food for their pets. This type of research used in the design and manufacture of this tool is a type of qualitative research with experimental methods, namely by conducting trials (trial and error) for mechanical and electronic design of hardware components and trying to explain, control the
phenomenon as accurately as possible.
Based on the test results and for the work of "Automatic Pet Feeder Based on Matrix 4 *
4 Microcontroller", it has shown results that are in accordance with the plan, namely the tool
can deliver feed that is issued through the Pet feed container tube automatically at a
predetermined time
