Abstract

Roads are the most commonly used land transportation infrastructure for access to the movement of people and goods, with the construction of road infrastructure it can facilitate the accessibility of various types of land transportation vehicles from one central area of activity to other areas. The development and improvement of roads, road construction is the most effective way to promote
relations in the field of land transportation carried out by the Sukabumi Regency Government. Cost estimation is an important element in overall project cost management. At the first stage or conceptual stage is used to find out how much it
costs to build the project. Therefore, estimating construction costs is very important, but it is difficult if the data is incomplete, only experienced people are able, although not necessarily accurate, so that they know the cost estimation and the accuracy of the cost estimation model in a road improvement project using only variable input data for work items. in the application, by entering the work item variable input data, it will find out how much the construction costs for the road improvement and make it easier for policy actors, in this case the Government to estimate the regional expenditure budget. To produce a model, the authors collect data on the Budget Plan (RAB) as primary data, as it is known
that for the construction of a model, the method most often used is the Cost Significant Model method with multiple linear regression equations. The results of this study indicate that the work components of the Bebutir Pavement Division
and the Asphalt Pavement Division have a significant effect on the total cost of road construction in Sukabumi Regency with a value of 84.70% while the remaining 15.30% is controlled by other jobs. The estimation model for road
improvement construction is Y = 202258072,776 + 1495143,128 (X3) + 588811,776 (X4). And the difference in cost using the model ranges from Rp. - 34 732 491.22 up to Rp. 13 970 802.80 or -8.30% to -3.79% with an average error of -1.06%.
