Abstract

The development of science and technology in the field of electronics and instrumentation can create electronic devices to display heart rates. Various types of sensors are used to help calculate heart rate, namely using the MAX30100 oxymeter sensor. This study uses sensors that are placed on the fingertips. The LED light penetrating the fingertips is received by a series of receivers and then processed into digital data in the form of beats per minute (bpm) by the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller. The data received by NodeMCU ESP8266 is forwarded via the blynk application on an Android smartphone to display the output on the smartphone. And the accelerometer motion sensor functions when there is movement of the hand, the MAX30100 oxymeter sensor will not transmit data.
