Abstract

Profession is one of the sciences that is able to influence children’s imaginàtion from an eatly age because itvia related tonthe interests or aspiration oglf children in the future. Ideals become the basic thoughts and desires of children as goals to be achieved in the fiture, ideals should be instilled from an early age (6-8 years) so that children can understand what goals mean and are invited to imagine what profession they can later become. Reach, in other words, children are invited to build dreams since childhood to provide guidance so that they choose a major
that does not deviate. One of the media to introduce professions to children is pop up media because it has movable parts and is in 3 dimensional shape so that
children are expected to be able to digest the knowledge conveyed easily. The pirpose ogf this creation thesis is to produce a pop up catalog design about the types of professions that function as amedium for introducing profesional education for children. The work technique is carried out starting from making storyboards on Hvs paper, then making sketches and coloring digitally to be
subsequently printed and manuallly formed pop up pagea per professional theme, the next step is the process of packaging pop up catalog illustrations per professional theme to make it loommore attractive in the packaging into a map cover, box, the put in a paper bag so that it doesn’t scatter so that it blends is one container so it’s easy to carry everywhere
